The Christmas Carol vs. The World! Championship is sub-divided into four skill levels, following the four ranks awarded in the game. This will offer contestants at all skill levels a chance to win. In addition to the four Top Rank Prizes, an extra-special Grand Prize will be awarded to the overall highest scoring player.
However, this year, in an effort to encourage novices and newcomers to play, we are changing things a bit. We will separate the veteran players in their own "Elite Knight" category, so that they will not compete with newer players for prizes. We hope that this will balance the contest and make it more fair to newcomers.
Grand Prize
The winner of the Christmas Carol vs. The World! Championship will receive a custom-designed, one-of-a-kind Ultimate Video Arcade Marquee. Made with the same process and materials that classic back-lit arcade cabinets use, it will look just as great on your MAME cabinet or your wall. Plus the winner will get to help design his own Christmas Carol themed marquee!

Top Rank Prizes
The player with the top score on each game rank will be awarded a special Top Rank Prize, consisting of a personalized, commemorative mug. A great gift to celebrate their achievement and a reminder of their calling to Santa's Elite Elf Squad.
And that's not all, each personalized mug will come bundled with a special packet of delicious hot-cocoa mix, perfect to keep you warm while playing during those chilly winter nights!

Runner-Up Commemorative Patches
Patches! Patches! Of course, you knew there would be patches. The five contestants with the highest scores following the Top Rank Prize winners of each rank, will receive a commemorative patch in recognition of their high status among Santa's Elite Elf Squad.
The colorful and beautifully embroidered patches will be emblazoned with the game rank mastered by the players. A trophy worthy of any champion!
